The scouts
Yet another cautionary tale about social media and body dysmorphia—the premise is so thoroughly consensus-approved that it barely registers as a premise at all, let alone one that makes you say 'wait, WHAT?' Biagi needed to find the perverse angle buried in here, the one nobody sees coming.
A competent execution of a familiar coming-of-age tragedy, situated squarely in the contemporary wellness-crisis lineage, though it risks disappearing into the formalist gloss of its own melancholy rather than earning the weight it's reaching for.
Two minutes is nothing, and Biagi uses that constraint to carve away everything but the specific moment of fracture—the film's power lives entirely in how it chooses to show the damage, not in explaining it, which is exactly the kind of structural decisiveness that makes a small work feel complete.
