A woman born literally wearing a wedding dress meets a man born literally wearing a groom's tuxedo; their inevitable courtship unfolds on 16mm with committed performances that take the absurd premise completely seriously. A romance about destiny as costume.

Born in a wedding dress. Born in a tux. They meet. The film doesn't blink. That straight-faced commitment to a truly insane premise is exactly the energy I'm here for.
Gondry-logic on 16mm where the metaphor for destiny is literalized as a congenital costume — that commitment to never explaining the premise is the difference between Amélie sentimentality and a real formal gesture. DC Pierson is a good sign too.
16mm with the literal premise played absolutely straight, plus DC Pierson selling longing — that's the trick that elevates the conceit. The page promises 'grounded and charming performances,' which is the whole game.
