Anxiety-as-subject is a well-trodden festival path, and Riascos doesn't exactly subvert the premise—it's exactly what you'd expect from the title, which is kind of the problem.
A formally composed meditation on interiority that sits comfortably in the experimental-drama tradition; the surreal tonality recalls anxiety cinema from Trier onward, though it doesn't quite articulate what it adds to that lineage.
The sound design is the whole architecture here—the way silence becomes pressure, the way ambient noise curdles into threat—and that singular sonic choice transforms a familiar subject into something genuinely disorienting and felt.
