The scouts
Skewering wellness culture by sending in a saboteur who scrolls past the meditation prompts. Yes please.
Outsider-among-the-precious comedy where the outsider just brings bad vibes — Johnston and Hennessey commit to the unlikable lead, which is what makes the satire sting. Spikier than the premise.
Outsider-among-the-precious where the outsider isn't curious — she's just bad vibes. That inversion is the whole satirical move and Hennessey's writing for herself gives it confidence. Lives on Hennessey's energy.
Reviews
Hilarious performance as the odd woman out, injecting toxic energy into a supportive space
