Sydney works at a fast food chain called Awesome Burger, in a world where all words are indecipherable and no conversation makes sense — a lo-fi thesis film about the baffling experience of being alive.

Fast food job. Words don't work. Nobody understands anything. This is an accurate depiction of life and also a VCUarts thesis film.
A VCUarts thesis where all language is gibberish — the broken-language conceit is a smart formal device for alienation, though sustaining it for 15+ minutes is a discipline many thesis films don't quite manage.
Language as broken premise device — every line of dialogue renders as nonsense, so alienation is communicated through pure incomprehension. That's a thesis-film bet that either works structurally or doesn't, and I want to see which.
