During a regression-therapy session, a young girl's visions of past, present and future materialize a Lovecraftian cosmic entity lurking behind a door.

The scouts
Regression therapy as a Lovecraftian portal—most scouts would've read this as pretentious noise, but Ty commits so hard to the collision that it becomes genuinely unsettling, like watching someone's therapy session crack open onto something *actually* wrong.
The film sits uneasily between psychological realism and cosmic horror, and while the formal ambition is there—those layered visuals, the sound design—the execution feels more sketch than lineage-aware statement; interesting failure, but failure nonetheless.
That decision to materialize the entity *through* the therapy session rather than as a jump-scare—letting the regression itself be the rupture—is the entire film, and it's small enough and specific enough that it almost makes the 5 minutes work.
