The blind date setup is almost aggressively familiar—you've seen this premise gutted a hundred times—but Domenech seems aware of that, which makes the restraint interesting; the question is whether the film actually subverts the threat or just leans into it like everyone else.
A tightly constructed three-minute thriller that understands the vocabulary of suspense cinema—the car as confined space, the stranger's unknowability—and deploys it with formal discipline, though it risks being too conversant with convention to feel essential.
What matters here is the decision to keep the threat ambiguous rather than manufactured—Domenech trusts the discomfort of not-knowing more than the relief of a reveal, and that restraint, held across just three minutes, is what makes it land.
