Gloria, a girl with sleeping problems, is a patient of Gerardo, a famed psychiatrist in a big city; chance crosses their path with Gabi, a homeless young man who earns his living playing the flute in the street.

The scouts
A psychiatrist, an insomniac girl, a street musician—sounds like a Sundance reject, but Arlandi's refusal to resolve anything or let sentimentality win is genuinely strange; the film just *stops*, which most people will hate and I'm here for it.
Arlandi positions this squarely in the Latin American realist tradition—the city as character, the formal distance between classes—and the editing knows when to hold on a face and when to let the street noise carry the weight of what's unsaid.
The whole film hinges on a single choice: playing Gabi's street flute as diegetic ambiguity, never clarifying what Gloria hears versus what's really there, which transforms a thin premise into something genuinely unsettling on almost no budget.
