A young woman comes home late from a night out; in her silent, empty apartment the truth catches up with her — she spent the evening pretending, hiding behind glitter and an assured smile a body she would rather conceal.

It's a competent portrait of body dysmorphia and social performance, sure, but the premise doesn't subvert anything — it's the expected story told the expected way, and two minutes isn't enough time to earn the melancholy fatigue it's reaching for.
Sallé and Verriele situate themselves squarely in the French intimist tradition — there's a formal restraint here that recalls Bresson's attention to small physical gestures as moral truth, though the execution doesn't quite achieve that precision.
The decision to let the mirror remain mostly withheld, cutting away just before reflection, transforms what could've been literal into something genuinely unsettling — that single absence of the visual confirmation she's seeking does the whole emotional work.
