Two long-lost friends rediscover friendship, small-town traditions, and the importance of coffee — an extreme satire of sitcom tropes pushed so far into parody it becomes something stranger.

Sitcom parody taken so far into the abyss it curls back around. The coffee is important. Don't ask why. It just IS.
Nathan-For-You-meets-Tim-and-Eric sitcom weaponization at 15 minutes is a long runway for the bit — extreme satire of small-town tropes can sustain that length only if the performances genuinely flip from amusing to disconcerting, which I'm cautiously willing to bet on.
Extreme sitcom-trope satire pushed to where performances become 'amusing and disconcerting in moments' — slow-motion entrance of a leather-jacketed friend named Graeme is the kind of specific bit that sells me. Risky tone, but committed.
