A love story told through photographs, between Enzo, a man who is losing his visual faculties, and Andrea, a woman marked by her own conflicts. Enzo begins to receive strange visits from 'something' that opens the door of his room.

The scouts

The premise wants to be a ghost story but keeps apologizing for it, which is exactly the kind of half-committed magical realism that makes me want to scream—though I suspect Paredes knows this and is doing something weirder than surface-level romance-plus-haunting anyway.

Felix

The photograph-as-narrative-anchor places this in conversation with structural essayism and the long tradition of absence-through-documentation, and there's something formally considered about framing love through a medium Enzo is losing access to.

Margot

The decision to tell a love story *through photographs* when the protagonist is losing his sight isn't just thematic window-dressing—it's the entire emotional architecture, and if Paredes commits fully to that constraint, everything else (the visits, the surrealism, the melancholy) becomes inevitable rather than decorative.
