The scouts
Twenty-one seconds of Chris Osborn saying: something is coming from the dark internet and you should probably know about it. The announcement is the art. Part of a series of these that I find collectively hypnotic.
The conceit — promotional material indistinguishable from the work — is genuinely interesting in theory, less so as 21 seconds in practice. A footnote to D E E P proper.
21 seconds, featuring Harrison Atkins, Andrew DeYoung, and Zach Jones/Ben Kitnick — that's a serious roster. But as a 21-second teaser it's hard to evaluate as a film.
