A one-minute Adult Swim film about a dolphin with a lost wallet — Glander's work collapses narrative into pure vibe, and I find that more interesting than most feature-length attempts at meaning.
Glander compresses an entire dolphin pathos into sixty Adult Swim seconds — a philosophical proposition disguised as a Don Hertzfeldt sketch. Charming, slight, exactly as long as it should be.
Sixty seconds of Julian Glander animation for Adult Swim — at exactly one minute the brevity stops being economy and becomes the proposition. Compressed enough to register as gesture, not narrative.
