Asthmatic Matty is coughing again, and again someone tells him not to die on them — only this time, he's going to, in a revolting animated tour of a malfunctioning body.

A three-minute animated essay on bodily failure that somehow makes you laugh at the exact moment it should horrify you — the kind of tonal gymnastics that feels genuinely unsettling rather than cute or clever.
Goldberg positions this squarely in the lineage of body-horror animation and darkly comic mortality tales, with a disciplined visual language that trusts the grotesque premise without overselling the sentiment.
The choice to animate the interior collapse rather than linger on Matty's face transforms a medical crisis into something almost abstract and strangely moving — one formal decision that reframes the entire emotional weight.
