After being mocked, a jacket is abandoned on a parking lot — but for how long?

A jacket gets abandoned and we're supposed to care—except Faure actually makes the absurd premise *work*, turning social humiliation into existential comedy with a deadpan eye that most shorts are too earnest to even attempt. This is the kind of 'wait, WHAT?' that justifies the whole enterprise.
The formal restraint here is admirable—two minutes of sustained tonal control, the kind of economy that recalls Beckett more than TikTok—but the conceptual lightness keeps it from the lineage weight this craft deserves.
The brilliant move is treating the jacket with genuine pathos; that tonal shift from ridicule to something almost elegiac in 120 seconds is what separates this from a sketch, and Faure commits to it completely.
