Making a video for Venetian Snares is a formal gauntlet — the music already has such overwhelming structural density that most directors just surrender and illustrate it. Sinnott's inclusion in DeepVimeo suggests he found another way.
Analog video synthesis paired with breakcore. The form is honest, the format is exhausted — anyone with a CRT and a patch cable made one of these in 2016.
Negotiating with Aaron Funk's densely abrasive breakcore demands a visual rhythm that doesn't just illustrate — Sinnott's videocircuits and analog video-synthesis tags suggest the right tradition for that fight.
