EXODUS
2020 · 5m · France
Directed by Alexandre Lefebvre, Andre Branco Ramiro, Mathieu Romee, Lionel Schramm
Tones: contemplative, dark
A wordless CGI vision of a scorched, post-apocalyptic Earth poses the question of what humanity might evolve into if it never curbs its destructive, unconscious behavior. The film was made as a graduation project by four students at ECV Animation Bordeaux.

The scouts
Four students betting the entire thesis on a wordless CGI apocalypse instead of, you know, actually saying something — it's either brilliantly defiant or catastrophically naive, and the fact that I can't immediately tell which one is exactly why it works.
A formally rigorous exercise in environmental sublimity that inherits from the tradition of sci-fi cosmic horror, though the four-director structure and student pedigree situate it more as promising craft than as a statement ready for canon.
The decision to render this entirely through immersive 3D environments without a single line of dialogue forces the animation itself to become the sole narrative instrument — and it's that constraint that elevates what could've been a student project into something genuinely haunting.
