Most people see 'couple tries sex tech' and think they know where this goes—Felix sees a film that weaponizes that assumption and flips it into something genuinely unsettling, where the real horror isn't the AI but what it reflects back at you.
Gidali and Tubi work within the sci-fi thriller lineage but execute with uncommon precision—the editing rhythms and tonal control elevate what could be gimmick into something formally rigorous and philosophically pointed.
The entire film hinges on a single performance choice: the moment the wife realizes what's actually happening, and how that shift in her face and body language reframes every beat before it—a micro-decision that transforms the whole enterprise.
