Amy Landecker and David Rasche in a NoBudge short about a weird will is suspicious in the best way, like finding a Criterion logo on a bootleg. I want to know how this happened.
Kazman pulls in real character actors — Landecker, Rasche — for an inheritance-with-strings setup, which lifts it above mumblecore-default. The page summary is thin enough that I'll trust the cast and reserve final judgment.
Page summary is just a cast list — Amy Landecker, David Rasche — and a logline about an unusual will. The pedigree is real but I can't read the craft choice from this little. Curious but conservative.
