A girl who’s tired of life finds refuge and passion within the gaming world. However, her will to fight only extends to her VR boxing matches, rather than the outside world.

The premise is almost there—escapism via VR as a stand-in for living—but it plays the melancholy too straight, too expected; I wanted the film to *break* something about that logic, not just observe it sadly.
Park's animation sits in a lineage of intimate digital portraiture (think Gobelins school sensibility), and the formal restraint—holding on stillness, letting color do emotional work—marks considered craft; the tonal consistency reads as deliberate rather than default.
The decision to let the boxing match itself stay *small* on screen, prioritizing the girl's face and breath over spectacle, is what makes this work—that single framing choice transforms what could be wish-fulfillment fantasy into something genuinely tender and complicated.
