Summer: Mark has just begun his holidays in Spain — a meal with friends, a beach, a boat, the sea — before the most beautiful days turn into the most extreme experience of his life.

The scouts
A one-minute thriller that pivots from postcard to nightmare—the setup is almost offensively normal until it *isn't*, which is either a neat structural trick or a gimmick depending on your tolerance for vacation-horror clichés; Guerrero's betting everything on that tonal whiplash, and it mostly lands.
Economical filmmaking in service of a familiar arc (idyll corrupted), though the compression into sixty seconds reads more as constraint than aesthetic choice—there's craft here in the pacing, but the form doesn't quite justify the familiar dramatic terrain it occupies.
That compressed timeline is the whole film: Guerrero's choice to let the beauty linger just long enough before the cut to darkness is what makes the violence register as violation rather than spectacle, and that single editing decision does the work a feature might need ten minutes to earn.
