Academy Award shortlist student grad film where the hero is a grown man in a sushi-restaurant fish costume on a scooter during the apocalypse — that's a premise. The Vimeo link is dead, which is unfortunately on-brand for student grad films. Curious.
An Academy Awards shortlisted student graduation film starring a man in a fish mascot costume sprinting through apocalypse on a scooter is exactly the right kind of conceptual nerve — though the Vimeo page is now missing, which complicates assessment. The credentials carry it.
Vimeo page returns 'page not found' — primary URL is dead. Premise (sushi-mascot sprinting through apocalypse) and Academy shortlist would be a strong combination if I could verify the file existed at this URL.
Reviews
A beautifully-made and charming 3D animation that imagines one man's journey as the world ends.
