A short film exploring the concept of incompleteness and complementarity — two equal parts that together constitute a whole — blending live action with animation, with original music and a lyrical structure.

Bohs and animator Marissa Dorman use the seam between live-action and drawn animation not to dazzle but to mark the exact moment feeling exceeds what the camera can capture — that threshold is the whole argument of the film, and it's constructed with real precision.
Live action plus hand-drawn animation about an abstract emotional state. That sentence is itself a warning. The festival circuit is the LGBT short circuit, the framing is dictionary-definition twee — I want to be wrong about this one but I'm probably not.
Hand-drawn animation mixed with live action to visualize an abstract emotional state — the abstract-emotion mode is hard to land and the page-summary suggests effort more than achievement. Cautious.
