Two strangers navigate a submerged landscape while sharing a remnant of a lost world.

The submerged setting could've been pure fantasy cosplay, but Critchley refuses the obvious—two strangers and a relic, no exposition, just the weight of proximity and loss. It's the kind of premise that makes you suspicious of it at first, then furious you didn't think of it.
Critchley's restraint in a 5-minute form recalls the European experimental tradition—think early Tarkovsky adjacency—where landscape becomes philosophical argument and editing rhythm becomes syntax for grief.
The decision to make the 'remnant' tactile and ambiguous rather than narratively legible is what makes this work: two performers have to *feel* its weight without telling us what it means, and that single constraint generates everything else.
