A dragon enters his living room, trying to remember something… then he goes to work.

A dragon materializes in somebody's living room, forgets why he's there, and just… clocks in for his shift—it's the kind of deadpan absurdist non-sequitur that makes you laugh because it refuses to explain itself, and that refusal is the whole point.
Othman's restraint in the animation and pacing situates this within a lineage of subtle comedic timing that owes as much to Miyazaki's quieter moments as it does to contemporary absurdist shorts; the formal choice to play the dragon's confusion without bombast elevates what could've been a gag into something architecturally considered.
The singular decision here is tonal—committing entirely to the dragon's blank, unquestioning acceptance of mundane employment rather than mining the premise for spectacle—and that choice transforms a six-minute sketch into something that lingers.
