What if it were possible to meet one another in our sleep? One night, three strangers find themselves in a hotel of dreams and must navigate this strange world together before dawn.

The shared-dream-hotel pitch screams Wes Anderson cosplay, but if the film actually commits to the strangeness—if it lets the logic of sleep break narrative convention instead of just dressing up a meet-cute—then maybe it's subversive enough to matter.
A seven-minute exercise in sustained visual metaphor that situates itself squarely in the lineage of dream-logic cinema (Buñuel, Švankmajer), and the formal rigor required to hold three strangers' arcs in a liminal space before dawn suggests a filmmaker thinking carefully about economy and symbol.
The success here lives entirely in how the three performances navigate strangers-becoming-accomplices in a space that doesn't follow waking rules—one moment of genuine recognition between them, or one sound design choice that tips the dream from whimsical to uncanny, could elevate this from premise into something that actually breathes.
Reviews
