2025 · 10m · USA
Directed by Jessica Ryan
Genres: comedy, experimental
Tones: absurdist, darkly comic, provocative

Of course it's directed, shot, edited, and starred in by one person. Anything else would be a betrayal of the form.
Single-author confession-cam disguised as a thirst tape, edited in iMovie like the medium is part of the bit — Petra Collins YouTube and Tao Lin alt-lit converging. The MacBook trash-bin texture is the thesis.
Single-subject thirst tape edited inside iMovie with Prezi presentations and intimate anecdotes against a red backdrop — Ryan trusting the medium to be part of the bit (looking like it was rescued from a 2015 MacBook trash bin) is a sharp formal call. Specificity over polish.
Reviews
A real sense of vulnerability as if it was recently recovered from the trash bin of a 2015 MacBook Air.
