Pelayo has a recurring dream in which he sees himself floating above his own body, and soon discovers he is actually trapped in a fifth dimension he does not know, asking whether it is possible to be in two places at once.

The fifth-dimension conceit is genuinely disorienting, but Pedregal doesn't push hard enough into the weirdness—it reads more like soft sci-fi introspection than the reality-fracturing premise it could be.
A formally composed meditation on duality and consciousness that situates itself thoughtfully within experimental cinema's lineage, though the film's dreamlike pacing occasionally drifts into self-indulgence.
That single recurring visual of Pelayo watching himself from above becomes the entire film's anchor—the moment Pedregal commits to holding that image without cutting away is where the budget constraints disappear and something genuinely unsettling emerges.
