What seems to be a job interview at a multinational turns out to be a demanding selection process to rent a small interior room, exposing the abusive precariousness of today's housing and labour markets.

The scouts
The bait-and-switch premise is flawless—you think you're walking into one genre (corporate satire) and the rug gets yanked to expose something meaner and more urgent (housing as extraction). Most scouts would play it safe; this one swings for the throat and lands.
Loureiro and Pomi situate themselves squarely in the lineage of Buñuel and Haneke—the absurdist interview as a tool for systemic critique—executed with formal restraint that lets the premise's horror accumulate without editorializing.
The decision to keep the framing static and bureaucratic (the interview *machinery* itself becomes the visual language) is what sells the desperation; a lesser film would cut to reaction shots, but they let the coldness of the space do the work.
