The scouts

The premise reads like every other summer-plans-go-wrong coming-of-age sketch, and I suspect Sanchidrián knows it—but I'd need to see what he actually does with that tired setup to know if he's deconstructing it or just inhabiting it.

Felix

A formally composed meditation on the gap between expectation and lived experience; the melancholic tone suggests a filmmaker conscious of the European arthouse tradition of ennui and disillusionment, though the execution will determine whether it earns that lineage.

Margot

Four minutes is punishing for a coming-of-age story, so everything rides on whether Sanchidrián finds the single moment—a glance, a withheld conversation, a cut—that crystallizes what Blanca actually understands about reality that her friends don't.
