In a laundromat, a celestial vagabond who is sometimes the only one to see the world's beauty tries to convince the other customers to help him — three solitudes, three revelations between drying cycles.

A celestial vagabond preaching beauty in a laundromat should be insufferable, but Demarest and Capponi somehow make the sentiment land without winking—which is either brilliant or dangerously sincere, and I genuinely don't know which one bothers me more.
The film inherits a lineage of magical-realist encounters in mundane spaces—Koreeda, perhaps early Gondry—but two minutes is a discipline that forces every formal choice into visibility: the editing between cycles, the sound design's restraint, the casting of revelation itself.
The entire engine runs on the decision to keep the vagabond's presence matter-of-fact rather than theatrical—no swelling score, no visual announcement—which means the other customers' small acts of attention become the actual supernatural event.
