A budding DJ's mystical weed turns out to be the only thing that lets him see the aliens infiltrating his neighborhood.

A DJ who needs psychedelic weed to clock an alien invasion is the kind of premise that makes you laugh *and* immediately ask what the hell you just watched — it's aggressively uninterested in playing it straight, and that refusal to pick a lane is exactly what makes it work.
The film's tonal restraint is its saving grace; it could've been chaos, but instead there's a considered rhythm to how it moves between the domestic and the uncanny, a lineage you can trace back to Kaufman and early Spike Jonze.
The sound design choice to anchor the alien presence through a specific audio frequency rather than visual spectacle is what elevates this from a gag into something genuinely eerie on a micro budget.
Reviews
It's all very playful and sweet, and makes for really fun sci-fi romp.
