Parents' everyday actions decide whether their children see them as heroes. The film urges today's parents to act so their children can admire them.

A PSA wrapped in the language of cinema—the kind of thing festivals program to feel virtuous, not to provoke. Nothing here resists; everything points neatly toward the moral, which is why it lands nowhere.
Competent in its tenderness and formally assured, but the film sits squarely in the well-worn tradition of family-values cinema without interrogating or extending that lineage in any way that justifies the form.
The editing rhythm—how it cuts between parental gesture and child's reaction—almost finds something real in that gap, and there's a restraint in the score that respects the audience's intelligence, but the premise does too much of the work and the filmmaking too little.
