Directed by Gabin Romer
Tones: contemplative, melancholic, tender
On 10 November 2018 at 6:48 a.m., an old pleasure plane rises silently into the sky; kilometres away, a little girl catches a voice by chance on her father's amateur radio and, without knowing it, is speaking to her grandfather on his final flight.

The premise wants to be precious—dead grandfather, radio voice, cosmic timing—but Romer somehow resists the schmaltz and lets the strangeness breathe instead; it's a ghost story that doesn't need to explain itself, which is genuinely rare.
A formally controlled piece that understands the grammar of intimacy through sound design and spatial separation; the 2-minute constraint becomes the film's greatest ally, collapsing time the way memory actually does.
The decision to keep the grandfather and granddaughter unseen—to let the radio transmission and the sky carry all the emotional weight—transforms a sentimental premise into something tactile and irreplaceable.
