A homeless man sleeps in front of an empty shop window when a vehicle stops and two men begin carrying things inside, while he tries to understand what is happening.

The scouts
Seven minutes of a guy watching a storefront get stocked while he's invisible—it's almost aggressively uneventful, which is exactly why it works; the refusal to manufacture drama or redemption is genuinely radical.
Rocha's patience with negative space and duration recalls the European minimalist tradition, particularly the observational stillness of late Bresson, where the ordinary act of bearing witness becomes the entire moral architecture.
The genius is that single choice to shoot from the homeless man's eyeline as the shop fills behind glass—we never see his face clearly, just the world happening *past* him, and that formal decision collapses the entire distance between viewer and invisibility.
