Sixth and apparent closing chapter of the darkly comedic Monica Lewinsky web series. Lily Marotta and Erin Markey land the series with the same low-key insolence it opened on.

A finale that flatly refuses to wrap a bow on it. Couldn't have ended any other way.
A finale that resists catharsis because the year ends, not the wound — Hagay and Marotta sticking the landing on Lewinsky-as-mumblecore-protagonist by refusing resolution. Earned restraint after five chapters.
A finale that resists catharsis because the year ends, not the trauma — that's the right move for the Lewinsky-as-mumblecore-protagonist conceit. The DP Daniel Rampulla credit suggests the visual grammar holds up, and Markey/Marotta together has been a strong engine through the series.
