In the midst of personal tragedy, David confronts a burden he cannot quite name. A spare British drama anchored by Robert Webb.

The scouts
Robert Webb in a serious grief drama — actor-against-type is one of the more reliable curiosity hooks, but the synopsis is just 'unspecified burden.' I'll bite for Webb alone.
Casting Robert Webb against type in a Ramsay/Arnold-adjacent grief drama is a precise, intelligent gesture — comedic actors carry suppression beautifully when the script trusts them. LFF Official Selection 2023 confirms the British dramatic-realist instinct here is serious.
Robert Webb (Peep Show) cast against type in 13 minutes of British grief drama — that's a director betting the entire emotional register on suppressed comedic timing repurposed as restraint. LFF Official Selection backs the casting bet.
