This is respectably made but fundamentally conventional — a woman in crisis finds meaning through peripheral encounters, which is basically the plot of every third film festival submission; Rubió doesn't seem interested in upending the premise, just executing it competently.
A formally precise study in ellipsis and urban solitude, where each neighborhood encounter functions as a discrete scene in a larger philosophical argument; the film's restraint and its trust in the viewer to complete the emotional architecture place it in conversation with the European art-cinema tradition of intimate reckoning.
The genius move is the evening-walk structure itself — by confining the entire arc to these liminal moments of transit, Rubió forces the camera to catch revelation in peripheral detail and overheard conversation, turning constraint into method and making every small human interaction feel weighted and essential.
