Modica burns down the tasteful-female-pleasure genre in under five minutes and doesn't apologize. The kind of thing the prestige docs would never let you see.
Edy Modica recounts a teenage masturbation attempt she calls 'desperate and demonic' — a confessional anti-erotica pitched directly at the tasteful onscreen versions. Joanna Arnow's nerve in monologue form.
First-person teen-masturbation confessional pitched as satirical rebuttal to tasteful onscreen female sexuality — Edy Modica describing her own attempt as 'desperate and demonic' is exactly the kind of corrective comedy that earns its provocation.
Reviews
An experience from Edy Modica's youth as she attempts to masturbate in the family bathroom with poor results — she describes her 'style' as 'desperate and demonic,' quite unlike the delicate, pleasing-to-the-eye depictions of female masturbation seen elsewhere.
