The scouts

A man's Sisyphean crusade to inhabit a *photograph* — not a place, a *postcard* — is so perfectly absurd it bypasses comedy entirely and lands in something darker and truer. Kaufmann's refusal to explain or sentimentalize the premise is exactly the kind of subversive premise-logic that makes consensus scouts uncomfortable.

Felix

The film's economy of image — that single postcard functioning as both MacGuffin and formal constraint — recalls the rigorous conceptual work of structural cinema, even as the execution remains defiantly comic and unserious.

Margot

The decision to make the wind itself the antagonist, rendered through sound design and repetitive framing rather than spectacle, transforms a slight premise into something genuinely melancholic; it's the restraint that makes it land.
