NORMIE
2025 · 3m · USA
Directed by Logan Fields
Tones: darkly comic, humorous, provocative
Two girls mock a stranger at a bus stop, oblivious to the fact that they themselves are being observed. A three-minute panel cartoon about who gets to point the camera.

Three minutes, no fat, and Harmony Tividad of Girlpool buried in the credits. If you can't say what you mean in 180 seconds, maybe don't.
Three minutes built like a comic strip panel, with the observers becoming the observed — Fields lands the inversion in exactly the runtime the joke needs. Snappy formal containment, no padding.
Three-minute comic-strip structure delivering the cruelty-comes-back-around twist is tight, efficient design. The Erewhon-smoothie-and-Juul specificity nails the LA-park demographic without overselling it, and Tividad's casting is a nice scenester cameo.
Reviews
NORMIE plays out similar to a comic strip as the ridiculousness of online dialogue spawns into a laughable reality.
