A 7-minute film about sound frequencies and vibration cycles sounds like the kind of experimental premise that gets dismissed as pretentious—until you realize Radev is actually making something genuinely weird, not just weird for its own sake; that's almost disappointing because I wanted to hate it.
Radev's structural discipline here—organizing narrative around sonic and vibrational cycles rather than conventional plot—positions [O] in a lineage of systems-based cinema, from Brakhage through contemporary sound art; the rigor with which he sustains this constraint is what separates a concept from a realized work.
The decision to build the entire film around frequency response as both structure and visual language is the kind of unifying creative choice that transforms a modest runtime into something that feels inevitable; everything serves that one commitment, which is exactly when low-budget work transcends its own constraints.
