An influencer paints herself for the camera and then performs for it — that's the whole show, that's the whole indictment. A dystopian satire built from a vanity and a ring light.

The scouts
Refuses to cut away, refuses to flinch, refuses to perform empathy for its subject. That's three refusals more than most shorts manage.
Inyang treats content creation as ritual self-display, locked in a single setup like Cindy Sherman with a ring light. Conceptually clean but I'd want the camera to push past elegance into actual indictment.
The single-setup vanity ritual is a smart conceit — Inyang weaponizes the influencer's makeup-then-perform loop as both subject and form. That said, dystopian-satire-about-content-creation is a crowded register, and the page copy leans more on stylish execution than ideas I haven't seen.
Reviews
Ultra simple set-up and elegant execution.
