It's a doc-comedy that *could* be twee tourist nonsense, but Tennant and Tennant seem genuinely committed to treating UFO witnesses with respect while letting the absurdity of the premise breathe—which is rarer than it should be.
The tonal balance here sits in a lineage of British observational cinema, where the form—the road-trip structure, the interview rhythm—disciplines what could easily tip into parody, and the editing respects that tension throughout.
The singular move is letting the interviewees' stories unspool without ironic underlining; the filmmakers' belief in the material becomes the actual subject, and that choice of restraint transforms what's ostensibly a lark into something genuinely moving.

Ready to hear some more wacky UFO stories? Dive in and enjoy this short film to hear some tales of strange spacecraft. This doc is more of a nice slice-of-life look at these people than an investigation into the UFO sightings.
