In a world where all social interactions are governed by exchanges of badges, the weight of judgements is transmitted tirelessly from generation to generation.

The scouts
A two-minute premise that inverts the social currency of validation into a literal hereditary burden—everyone else would've made this earnest or preachy, but Genovesio seems to understand the absurdist comedy of watching judgment become weaponized through bureaucracy. Finally, sci-fi that doesn't explain itself to death.
The satire operates within a clean conceptual framework reminiscent of dystopian allegory (Bradbury, early Black Mirror), and the constraint of the runtime forces formal discipline—every frame has to earn its weight when the premise itself is doing the thematic labor.
What makes this work is the choice to keep the badges themselves visually understated; by not fetishizing the sci-fi prop, Genovesio forces the camera to track the *social transaction* instead, and that restraint is what transforms a clever concept into something that actually lands.
