The premise wants so badly to be profound — teenager draws circles, love, mother, *meaning* — but it's executed with such sincere restraint that it circles back to something almost too legible; Wargny's betting everything on tender earnestness when the subversive move would've been to let it fail.
There's a lineage here worth honoring — the meditative durational film, the hand as witness to interior life — and Wargny situates himself thoughtfully within it, though the film risks becoming a beautiful etude rather than a statement that justifies its own brevity.
The choice to let the camera stay with the drawing *process* rather than cut to reveal the final image is what makes this work: two minutes of accumulation and erasure becomes a portrait of how love actually lives — in the attempt, not the arrival.
