Three friends who have weathered many trials together share simple moments, as nostalgia plays with the temporality of a friendship without artifice.

It's almost aggressively *simple* — three friends, moments, nostalgia — which would normally bore me senseless, but Okota seems to be doing something deliberately anti-narrative here, letting temporality slip around like it's the real subject, not the friendship. That's either profound or nothing, and I'm weirdly convinced it's the former.
The formal restraint is admirable; there's a lineage here of intimacy cinema that trusts duration and small gestures over plot machinery, reminiscent of the best of Chloé Zhao's early work or Lucile Hadžihalilović's precision. The editing choice to let moments breathe rather than construct them feels considered and deliberate.
Okota's commitment to playing with temporal perception in a two-minute frame — the way past and present seem to occupy the same space through editing and sound layering — is exactly the kind of constraint-driven invention that transforms a modest premise into something haunting and specific.
