Snickers, a lonely mouse in a pet shop whose enormous ears make children laugh at him, longs for someone to buy him and take him home.

It's a solid premise—lonely pet-shop mouse with comically oversized ears—but the execution lands firmly in expected emotional beats; there's no real rug-pull, no formal risk that would make you reconsider what a talking-animal story can do.
A formally assured piece of character animation that sits comfortably in the post-Pixar lineage of anthropomorphic pathos; the staging and pacing show clear craft, though it doesn't push against the grammar of the form.
Those enormous ears aren't just a design gimmick—they're the entire emotional architecture, the single visual choice that makes a four-minute film about abandonment land with unexpected weight and specificity rather than sentiment.
