Tones: contemplative, tense
Gathered for a hen weekend, a small group of young women spends a sunny weekend by the water. Among them, Morgane keeps her distance, afraid of revealing the formidable secret she is hiding.

A hen weekend thriller that does the expected thing — isolate the woman with the secret, wind tension — and I'm genuinely unsure if Guédon is winking at the setup or just executing it competently. Either way, it doesn't land weird enough to justify my attention.
Formally controlled and clearly in conversation with the locked-room psychological tradition, though at two minutes the film has barely established its own formal argument before the premise does the work for it.
That stretching of negative space — the way Morgane's physical isolation from the group is rendered through framing and the deliberate absence of reaction shots — does more to communicate dread than any score could, and it's a choice that proves Guédon understands how to use constraint.
