Corn, a robot who dreams of having his photo taken with his goddess, must find a way to capture her attention among all the other beautiful robots.

The scouts

A robot pining for his goddess in a sea of identical beautiful machines should be insufferable, but instead it's just... sincere? The film refuses to subvert its own sentimentality, which is almost radical enough to work.

Felix

The whimsy lands because of disciplined restraint—every frame in service of that one longing—and there's a lineage here to stop-motion pathos that knows when to let silence do the work.

Margot

The decision to make Corn visibly *worse* than the other robots, physically smaller and less polished, transforms what could've been generic longing into something about worth and visibility that hits in five minutes because of that single formal choice.
